ZONE |

- Supply Blue craft supplies to create their own
projects.

- Paint with Blue paint and brushes.
|
- Shape names or letter (B) using Blue glue, ribbon, buttons, etc.

- For less developed Learners, give them Blue glue sticks to smear on a piece of paper.

Blue Collage |
- Cut Blue colored items from a magazine.
|
- Glue them to a piece of Blue construction paper.
|
- Learners can also use Blue markers, crayons, stickers, etc.
|
Blue Placemat |
- Glue Blue colored craft items to a piece of paper.
|
- Use glitter, ribbon, stickers, color-coding labels, tissue paper, wrapping paper, wallpaper, etc.
|
- Learners can glue items in the shape of their names, the letter (B), or at random.
|
- Laminate the paper to use as a placemat.
|
Ocean in a Bottle |
- Learners will need a clear plastic bottle with the paper removed. Gatorade bottles work well.
|
- Fill the bottle with water and add Blue food coloring to dye the water Blue.
|
- Add a small amount of vegetable or salad oil to the water.
|
- Seal the lid tightly with hot glue, liquid cement, or Super Glue.
|
- Pretend the ocean is in the bottle and watch the waves roll and then calm.
|
- Use these bottles in a game during Action Zone.
|
Blueprints |
- Have Learners do some fingerprinting with Blue ink pads.
|
- They can create scenes from their prints by giving them legs, arms, wheels, etc.
|
- They can spell their name with their fingerprints or shape the letter (B).

Book of Blues |
- Fold several pieces of Blue construction paper in half to make a booklet.
|
- Learners fill the pages with things that are Blue.
|
- Glue items such as stickers, sequins, cutouts, foam, tissue, ribbon, etc. to the pages.
|
- Use Blue markers and pens to create in the booklet.
|
- Punch holes along the fold and thread with Blue ribbon. Write “Blue” on the front cover.
